“Getting involved has made me more aware of my community. I have realized just how much of an impact we can make. Through my volunteering, I live UNITED by keeping in mind throughout my day where exactly needs come up. There’s so much need in Kenosha County, and how do you address it all? Then, I bring that knowledge back to United Way, especially with my involvement in CIC,” says Bill Roberts, 2022 UWKC Volunteer Person of the Year.
Bill Roberts was awarded the Volunteer Person of the Year award because of his passionate, dedicated service to United Way, dating back more than 30 years. In truth, there likely is not a part of our organization that Bill has not been a part of one way or another, and for that, we thank him. We are honored that Bill rejoined the Board of Directors.
