Small Businesses Make a BIG Impact!
Small businesses play a critical role in maintaining a thriving community, and their partnership is equally critical to the success of United Way of Kenosha County as we work together to make Kenosha a place where everyone has equal access to and participates in education, financial resources and quality healthcare.
Workplace giving campaigns are the cornerstone of fundraising for United Way of Kenosha County, uniting businesses, and employees, countywide in efforts that help create a community where everyone thrives. United Way of Kenosha County's 365 Small Business Circle is a giving initiative aimed to make philanthropy easier and more rewarding for small businesses.
United Way invites you and your company to join 365 Small Business Circle and connect with other local businesses owners who are dedicated to serving the community where we all live, work and/or play.
There's nothing small about your small business contribution. For an annual gift of $365, or one dollar per day, your gift can help us to provide:
- Individualized tutoring in reading to more than 50 local students;
- Free tax preparation to almost 900 taxpayers;
- Literacy classes for language students at Kenosha Literacy Council;
- Abuse awareness classes facilitated by BeLEAF Survivors Inc; and so much more in partnership with local nonprofits through UWKC's community investment program.
As an SBC donor, you and your small business will receive recognition within United Way marketing materials, including in our annual report, at special events, and on our website — like the logo(s) below!
SBC donors will also be featured in a digital blog spotlight. Check out the SBC donor benefit guide below to learn more, or for an example, click here to check out our inaugural SBC Spotlight, featuring Ed Egan and his small business: Double E Workplace Solutions.
... and we haven't even got to social media yet! SBC donors will also receive a shoutout and company tag (if applicable) across our social media channels (18,000 avg. monthly reach): Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
As our Small Business Circle grows, we will invite donors to exclusive networking events to connect with fellow do-gooders in the community as well as leaders from well-known area businesses.
