United Way of Kenosha County impacts individuals and families in our local community by investing in various programs at our partner provider agencies.
We work to bring together partners from business, education, government, faith-based, and nonprofit organizations to work toward common goals, resulting in better quality of life for all. Through our Community Fund, we strategically focus on the areas of education, financial stability, and health.
Thanks to over 7,900 volunteers and 2,800 donors, we have been able to create positive community-wide change right here in our local community.
In 2017, United Way of Kenosha County was able to fund 18 local partner provided agency programs through our Community Investment Process. These programs served approximately 14,259 clients in the outcome areas of education, income, and health. Another 50 organizations received donations designated through United Way.
These partners tackle many difficult issues here in our community and we would like to recognize then and thank them for the work they do of delivering direct service to those in need. They go through the application process with ongoing year-round review, and our community is a better place because of their efforts.
