In this role, she is responsible for leading developing and ensuring effective implementation of plans, systems, policies and processes for workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and payroll.
Her vast experience of 21+ years of management and leadership experience has been garnered from education, municipality, and corporate industries.
Karin has an Associate’s Applied Science – Criminal Law Enforcement, Bachelor's of Science – Administration of Justice, both from Southern Illinois University, Masters of Arts – Human Resources Development, Webster University, Master's of Science – Education, Purdue University, and currently She is ABD for a Doctoral Degree in Global Leadership – Indiana Technical University.
As a servant leader, she is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. – Waukegan Alumnae Chapter and a board member of Lion’s Mathematics and Science Christian Academy.
She is passionate about children and women; and champion’s causes that focus on this audience.
