United Way of Kenosha County is honored to be named one of the Otto Bremer Trust's intermediary partners.

Kenosha County, WI – United Way of Kenosha County is proud to join United Way of Wisconsin as an intermediary for the Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Fund, bringing new opportunities for investment in local programs that support families and strengthen communities across Kenosha County.
The Otto Bremer Trust is a private charitable organization dedicated to supporting communities throughout the Upper Midwest. Established by philanthropist and business leader Otto Bremer, the Trust focuses on advancing economic stability, supporting nonprofit organizations, and improving quality of life for individuals and families.
“The Otto Bremer Trust is proud to work with United Way to administer and distribute grant funds in Wisconsin,” said Frank Miley, co-CEO and trustee, OBT. “The Trust’s mission has always been to fund organizations and programs that effectively address challenges and opportunities in their local communities. What better way to have a deeper understanding of where those challenges are than to work with an organization like United Way, which is fully integrated into the communities and regions we serve. We look forward to working together to increase our impact.”
Through the Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Fund, resources will be distributed to nonprofit organizations in Kenosha County to address emerging and immediate community needs. Funding priorities include programs that promote food, shelter, low-income healthcare clinics, disability services, and school-based mental health.
UWKC will act as a local advisor to the Otto Bremer Trust, assisting the Otto Bremer Trust in increasing its beneficial impact within Kenosha County by recommending organizations that offer meaningful programs and services.
“This partnership allows us to bring additional resources into Kenosha County and respond more directly to the needs we see every day,” said Jevon Claussen, Senior Director of Community Impact of United Way of Kenosha County. “We are grateful to work alongside United Way of Wisconsin and the Otto Bremer Trust to support organizations that are making a meaningful difference in our community.”
