FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF THE UNITED WAY OF KENOSHA COUNTY
It is with great pride that I share that Carolynn has been selected for an exciting new leadership opportunity outside of the United Way organization. While I cannot share additional details at this time, this is an incredible opportunity for Carolynn, where I know she will excel. At the same time, it is bittersweet for our organization, staff, and Board, as we recognize the significant void her departure will leave.
During her tenure, she has made a significant impact both within the organization and throughout Kenosha County. Her leadership helped guide UWKC through a period of growth, innovation, and increased community engagement.
Among her key accomplishments:
· Celebrated 100 Years of Impact with Signature Centennial Initiatives: Friesch spearheaded the organization’s 100th anniversary celebration through impactful initiatives such as the Centennial Jubilee, Legacy of Giving, and 100 Years, 100 Volunteers: A Day of Service. These efforts engaged the community, honored long-standing supporters, and inspired a new generation of involvement.
· Expanded and Deepened Community Partnerships: She cultivated meaningful partnerships that increased sponsorships, volunteerism, and cross-sector collaboration, thereby enhancing United Way’s reach and effectiveness across Kenosha County.
· Secured First-Ever Federal Funding: Friesch played a key role in obtaining a Congressionally Directed Spending grant of $200,000 from the U.S. Department of Education, marking the first federal award in UWKC’s history.
· Expanded Visibility and Advanced Brand Repositioning: Under her leadership, UWKC increased its visibility throughout the community while advancing United Way Worldwide’s rebranding initiatives locally, strengthening brand consistency, relevance, and recognition.
Carolynn has been an incredible asset to United Way of Kenosha County. Her leadership has driven meaningful progress, implementing impactful events and initiatives that strengthened our financial position while also increasing community awareness and understanding of our mission. The momentum we are experiencing today is, in large part, due to her vision and dedication.
Please join me in wishing Carolynn continued success in this exciting next chapter.
Thank you,
