Impact 211

United Way of Kenosha County fights for the health, education, financial stability and basic needs of every person in Kenosha County.   We accomplish this by developing relationships with partners like local school districts, Universities, financial institutions, hospitals and our nonprofit partners to address our community’s most critical unmet needs.

A critical part of our mission is to connect people in need with local resources and assistance when they need them and that is why we partnered with IMPACT 2-1-1. Impact 2-1-1 is a free, confidential helpline and online resource directory. By calling 2-1-1, Kenosha County residents are able to receive information about accessing emergency food, housing, child care, crisis counseling, substance abuse treatment and more.

Crisis, homelessness and hunger can happen anytime, to virtually anyone. United Way of Kenosha County has a long history of supporting services like Impact 2-1-1, and understands the valuable safety net they provide our community.    In 2017, 825 calls were received and 1,002 referrals were made to local organizations for assistance in Kenosha County.
