United Way of Kenosha County's Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities 

  • Youth As Resources Adult Board MemberThe Kenosha County Youth As Resources Board of Directors is made up of nine youth (grades 9-12) and three adults from across Kenosha County. The YAR board meets once a month to discuss community issues, award grants to youth-led community service groups, and plan community involvement initiatives.   • Community Investment Committee - This committee is tasked with reviewing grants and recommending funding to local programs on an annual basis. Complete the volunteer interest form by clicking here

  • Readers Are Leaders Tutoring Program - Tutors will work one-on-one with a first through third-grade student during the school day to supplement the work they are doing in the classroom.  For more information, visit our Readers Are Leaders Tutoring Program page

  • Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program - Volunteers can assist a few hours per month to prepare taxes, provide language interpretation, financial education, intake, and client registration. Complete the volunteer interest form by clicking here
