100 Years, 100+ Volunteers: Day of Service

United Way of Kenosha County and Leadership Kenosha are teaming up for 100 Years, 100 Volunteers: A Day of Service on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Volunteers from across Kenosha County will come together in celebration of United Way’s 100th anniversary of mobilizing the caring power of our community.

The day will begin at 7:45 a.m. with a reception and program recognizing the 2023 Celebrate United Award winners while bringing awareness to volunteer opportunities in our area. Afterwards, volunteers will travel to a United Way Community Investment partner agency to complete a service project. Service projects and locations will be assigned to volunteers.

Date: Saturday, April 1st

  • Check-in: 7:45AM 
  • Celebration & Recognition: 8:00AM
  • Dismissal to Service Project Location: 8:45AM

BeLEAF Survivors - Gift Packing

Description: Help us package gifts for the students who participate in abuse awareness classes across Kenosha and Racine.

Boys and Girls Club - CYC PARK - Grounds and Building Clean-Up

Description: Complete grounds beautification, maintenance, and clean-up.

Roosevelt Elementary - Sensory Playground

Sharing Center - Organizing and sorting donations

Description: Help get summer meal program organized and assist with other critical pantry organizational needs

Women & Children's Horizon** - Assemble Folders for Clients and their Children

Description: Put together care packets and welcome folders for shelter clients and their children.

YMCA - Easter Egg Hunt

Description: Join Kenosha YMCA for a celebratory Easter breakfast. Volunteers will help manage bunny games and crafts.
