To be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, Kenosha residents are invited to participate in the first Kenosha's Good Deeds Day to do good for the benefit of others and the planet.   This event helps to put into practice the simple idea that every single person can do a good deed, be it large or small, to imrpove the lives of others and positively impact the world.

Good Deeds Day is a global movement that unites 93 countries around the world in doing good deeds.

Since 2007, millions of people and thousands of organizations and businesses worldwide have united together every year to do good and volunteer, putting into practice the simple idea that every person can do a good deed, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively impact the world.

Crossing all borders and cultures, thousands of businesses and organizations from more than 90 countries – including MTV Global, ABC Network Studios NYC, NASDAQ, Pope Francis, and many more – have taken part.

Join us on April 15th from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. starting in the back alley behind the Kenosha Creative Space at 624 57th St, Kenosha to particpate in one or more of the 8 activites that will be available.  Some of those activities include a Book, Food, Art Supplies, and Clothes Drive, making tissue paper flowers, creating greeting cards for the elderly, and working on a community mural.

Day of Caring

Day of Caring brings together business leaders, campaign coordinators, nonprofit partners, and volunteers across Kenosha County to work on service projects that will make an impact.  Working together and fostering team-building within our community exemplifies our LIVE UNITED spirit and builds excitement for giving back, both through time and donations.

This event will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018. This one-day volunteer opportunity provides Kenosha County resident employees with a chance to roll up their sleeves and get dirty.  In addition to lending a hand to a local nonprofit, volunteers learn more about their community needs.  Visit our Volunteer Center around September 1st for more information on the event.

Day of Action

Every year, United Ways throughout the country invite people and organizations to LIVE UNITED by offering an opportunity to take action to better our communities.

Held in the middle of June, you can help United Way of Kenosha County put its mission to fight for the education, financial stability, and health of every person in our neighborhoods into action.  This "Day of Action" serves as a reminder that when people unite for the greater good, every day is a day of action.

Visit our Volunteer Center in May for more information.
