Readers Are Leaders

In Kenosha County, three in four third graders cannot read proficiently at grade level. That's just one in four students who can read proficiently. Literacy in our community is in crisis. Through Readers Are Leaders, we provide one-on-one to students identified as needing additional support. Volunteers help create positive associations with reading and support their continued learning. You can help a student read and succeed.
