Readers Are Leaders Event

Join us for United Way of Kenosha County's 10th Annual Readers Are Leaders event on March 5, 2019, which is held in conjunction with Read Across America and the birthday of Dr. Seuss. This year, Kindergarten through Third Grade classrooms across Kenosha County will be able to register so their students can hear various Dr. Seuss stories. Help us make our event success!

This year, Kindergarten through Third Grade classrooms across Kenosha County will be able to register so their students can hear various Dr. Seuss stories.   Help us make our event success!

Volunteers will read a Dr. Seuss book provided by United Way of Kenosha County and engage students with questions about the story.  By volunteering, our readers show students why reading is so important and, most importantly, show them that we care about their success.

The kickoff to the event will take place at Gateway Technical College's Madrigrano Hall at 8:00am and, after a brief program and group picture, volunteers will go to their picked school to read.
