Chris Terry been with Carpetland USA Flooring Center for more than 10 years, just recently being promoted to Store Manager of Carpetland's new Kenosha location. Prior to his tenure with Carpetland, he was Director of Sales and Marketing for a branch of Mayflower Transit in Sturtevant, and spent the seven years before that as a reporter for a daily newspaper in Jacksonville, IL.
A native of Springfield, IL, Terry graduated from Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL, in 2001 with Bachelor's Degrees in English, Communications and Theatre. Terry moved to Racine in 2004 and started looking for a job in Southeast Wisconsin at that time.
Terry has been involved with dozens of nonprofits during his time in Wisconsin, including have previously served on the board for United Way of Racine County for six years, before maxing out. He also has board experience with HALO (the homeless shelter in Racine), Downtown Rotary Club of Racine, Racine Founders Rotary Club, NAMI of Racine County, the Racine Public Library and Young Professionals of Racine. He was President of the Racine Downtown Rotary Club in 2010-2011.
Terry currently lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Angela, and their son, Tony.
